WRONG WAY JOURNEY

Wrong Way Journey is a raw, unflinching solo performance that traces one Black queer womxn's collision with trauma — and their refusal to stay broken by it. Thrust out of innocence and into a world eager to define, police, and silence them, they begin carving their own path toward healing, wholeness, and liberation on their own terms.

As they wrestle with faith, desire, and identity, they push back against the narratives imposed on womxn's bodies — especially Black womxn's bodies — and interrogate what it means to reclaim agency in a culture steeped in shame and contradiction. Bold, vulnerable, and at times darkly humorous, Wrong Way Journey doesn't ask for permission — it demands witness. This is one queer womxn's story of survival and self-definition, told out loud.
